Meet the Presenter

Rebecca Hey – An Experienced Occupational Therapist and Award-Winning Case Manager

Rebecca qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1994 and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. Her career spans over three decades, during which she has practiced and managed services in acute teaching hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and community facilities across the United Kingdom, United States, and New Zealand. Her extensive expertise includes working with both paediatric and adult clients, specializing in acquired brain injuries and catastrophic injuries.

Since 1999, Rebecca has focused on providing brain injury case management within the statutory and private sectors in the West Midlands. Her roles have included working at the Regional Rehabilitation Unit, University Hospital Birmingham, Centre for Defence Medicine, and Momentum. She has substantial experience delivering assessment and case management services to both claimants and defendants, earning her recognition as a highly skilled professional in her field.

Rebecca is a full member of the Case Management Society of the United Kingdom (CMSUK) and an Advanced Member of the British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABICM), further demonstrating her commitment to professional excellence.

In 2006, Rebecca founded The Rehabilitation Partnership Ltd (TRP), where she and her team deliver high-quality, specialist, and innovative case management and rehabilitation services tailored to complex client needs. Their approach is firmly rooted in a truly client-centered ethos.

Rebecca’s dedication and leadership have been widely recognized:

  • In 2018, she won the CMSUK Awards for Catastrophic Clinical Case Manager of the Year and Partnership Case of the Year.
  • In 2024, TRP was honored with the CMSUK Award for Small Case Management Company of the Year and the Rehabilitation Innovation Award for the Marvellous Vintage Tea Pre-Vocational Skills Project.

Rebecca’s ongoing contributions to the field of case management and rehabilitation underscore her passion for empowering clients and advancing innovative practices.
