Joep Fernando is a Senior Specialist Hand Therapist and Lead Scar Management Therapist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust, with over five years of experience as an Occupational Therapist. Joep is passionate about full-body scar management and improving patient outcomes. His expertise includes ScarWorks Massage, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Massage, Compression Garments, Silicone Therapy, and Kinesiology Taping, aimed at enhancing scar maturation and tissue health.
As a clinical academic at King’s College London, Joep contributes as a clinical expert on an NIHR-funded project developing a medical device for Dupuytren’s contracture. He is also the Clinical Director and Co-Founder of London Scar Therapy, a private practice providing specialized scar management services to both adults and children.
Daniel Ceh is a Senior Specialist Hand Therapist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust with a focus on hand therapy and scar management. Originally from Australia, where he began his career after graduating from the University of Sydney, Daniel developed a keen interest in hand therapy and splint-making. Since moving to London, he has honed his expertise in managing complex scars across the body, working closely with plastic surgeons to treat hypertrophic and keloid scars.
As Co-Founder of London Scar Therapy, Daniel leads a team of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists offering specialized treatments, including ScarWorks massage, silicone therapy, compression therapy, and kinesiology taping.
