At the CMSUK "The Identity Journey" Conference 2025, we delve into the profound process of rediscovering one’s identity after an accident. 7. STUDY DAY - FND: Insights, Inspiration & Innovation - 1st May 2025 - MANCHESTER
Overview: Join us for an in-depth exploration of Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) at our collaborative study day, designed to inspire, educate, and innovate. Hosted by DWF and CMSUK, this event brings together leading experts, clinicians, and legal professionals to provide a comprehensive understanding of FND from clinical, rehabilitation, NHS, and legal perspectives.

3. STUDY DAY - Management for Managers Part 2 - Cardiff - 13th May 2025
Overview: Join us on the 13th May 2025 in Cardiff for the Management for Managers Part 2 Programme, a focused study day designed to look at the practical application of case management to enhance understanding of key legal issues and industry standards. This interactive session covers single vs joint instruction, recent case law, litigation privilege, and the Rehabilitation Code, offering practical insights and strategies from multiple professional perspectives. Attendees will also explore case manager qualifications, CPD development, and the evolving role of the profession. A must-attend for all professionals working in case management to gain a deeper understanding of the issues affecting all aspects of case management practice.

14. WEBINAR - Empowering Communication & Rehabilitation: How L&H AAC and AT Solutions Supports AAC Users - 22nd May 2025
Laith Ritchie is a 22-year-old AAC and assistive technology user with Quadriplegic Athetoid Cerebral Palsy. Having navigated the challenges of adapting his access methods over the years, he brings both personal experience and professional expertise to the field. In 2024, he founded L&H AAC and AT Solutions, where he serves as Director and Consultant, dedicated to supporting individuals and professionals within the AAC and assistive technology community.
This presentation will introduce Laith and L&H AAC and AT Solutions, providing insight into his background, expertise, and the consultancy’s mission. It will then outline the company’s business model, geographical reach, and approach to rehabilitation support. Finally, the session will explore how L&H AAC and AT Solutions collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive and effective solutions for clients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

5. Level 3 - Safeguarding – Adults and CYP - 6th November 2025
Overview: This certified course is suitable for Case Managers, Rehab Professionals, Specialist Care Providers and for others who work in similar roles within the ABI / Spinal Injury Sector to gain essential level 3 training in this important area of work. There would be an expectation from regulators / commissioners that staff who work at this level have attended a full day level 3 training at least once every 3 years.
6. Level 4 - Safeguarding Adults and Children - 26th & 27th November 2025
Overview: This is a 2 day workshop which aims to develop Level 4 knowledge, skills and competencies for safeguarding children and adults at risk so that participants can undertake the roles and responsibilities for taking a lead safeguarding role within their organisation. It will be predominantly aimed at those working in Case Management, Rehabilitation and Specialist Care agencies who work with clients with ABI/Spinal Injuries. This course is aligned to the Bournemouth Competency Framework and the Inter Collegiate Document (both available on request).
