Profile: Kate qualified as a music therapist in 2003. Her work has focused on children with significant behavioural difficulties caused by trauma and attachment related issues. Kate has also worked extensively within the field of dementia and in special schools with PMLD, learning difficulty and visual impairment. Kate is also a Neurologic Music Therapist, certifying in 2017. Kate is Chroma’s Referrals Manager.
Presentation aims: This presentation will show attendees how and why the Creative Arts Therapies, including neurologic music therapy are effective with brain injured clients. The presenter will focus on 4 key aspects, which attendees can link to their own clients;
